Guided Cat and Carp Fishing
on the River Ebro in Spain
Ebrocatncarp are based in the town of Caspe, which lays some 70 miles south of Zaragoza overlooking the spectacular River Ebro in Spain. Lake Caspe was created when the River Ebro was dammed, and follows the previous rivers course for approximately 70 miles. Whilst Mequinenza enjoys an unrivalled reputation for fantastic carp and cat fishing, more and more anglers are also looking for new experiences, and for them, Caspe, unspoilt by either pollution or over intensive fishing, is providing a new challenge to both English and European anglers alike.
The River Ebro has always been famous for its massive carp and cat fish and landing a
‘ton up’ cat fish is the ultimate challenge for many UK anglers. These cat fish fight hard, but it’s a fight that can be won with our experienced and well respected guides. Ebrocatncarp recommend that the best time to catch those monster cat fish is between April and November.
Carp fishing is good all year round, with plenty of twenties and thirties being the norm. Pre baiting is always a good idea, and we can bait up a hot spot for you before you arrive at reasonable cost. You will have every opportunity to beat your personal UK best carp catch, and if you combine carp fishing with a day or two of cat fishing, then you can’t fail to have a fantastic fishing trip and high catch rates.
No matter what species you prefer to go fishing for, Ebrocatncarp are based in exactly the right spot to get you onto those huge carp and cat fish straightaway. If Black Bass and Zander are on your hit list, you need look no further. Huge Zander and Black Bass are at their best here on the River Ebro, and lure fishing might be a new challenge for you to try.
Unlike some other fishing companies, the Ebrocatncarp guides will take you to different hotspots. If the fish aren’t biting in a particular swim, then we will explore a different area. We will move to where the fish are, we won’t just sit and wait for them to find us. All this goes to make an Ebrocatncarp fishing trip just that little bit different to all the rest.
