Latest News:
Steve and Lisa
Our now good friends Steve and Lisa were back for their 4th fishing trip this year with Ebrocatncarp. Combining this visit with a spot of sightseeing, Steve had 4 days fishing. Conditions made the fishing a bit slow, but Steve still managed to land 15 fish including a nice 32lb carp, and he has already booked for some winter carping in February 2009.

Steve Hopkins
On his first trip out to the River Ebro, from the Valley’s, Steve landed carp to mid 20’s as cats to 162lb on his last day, he had a craicing time with the other customers on the bank, and headed back to Wales promising to spread the word!

Chris and Simon
Simon Chris and Simon were on their first trip with Ebrocatncarp for a weekend trip for cats.
In just 3 days fishing, they landed 1824lb of fish, with 12 over 100lb, with a 147lb
for
Chris and a 151lb for Simon

Jimmy and Nick
Our mate Jimmy was back for his second visit of the year, bringing his brother Nick,
who landed cats to 120lb. Nick can’t wait to come back and
next time he wants a week’s worth!

Dean and Mick
Taking the prize for the booking the shortest notice holiday, Dean and Mick were on
their way to Spain within a few days of Dean’s first phone call to us. Whisking his Dad away for
a quick 4 day break in the sun, these London boys provided plenty of bank side banter.
They had a great time with cats to 129lb and are hoping for a return trip fairly soon.

Terry, John, Alan and Charlie
Terry was back for his 3rd trip with Ebrocatncarp, bringing back his grandson Charlie John and
his mate Alan who was here on his second trip. In challenging conditions,
the lads still managed cats to 152lb, with young Charlie hauling in a nice 32lb carp
and a 100lb cat, and a 40+ carp for Terry

Matt, Andy and Mike
Our good friend Matt was back for another visit bringing work collegues for their first
Ebro fishing trip. Andy surprised himself by landing his first EVER fish which was a
118lb catfish, Mike hauled in a nice 135lb cat as well as 3 x 30’s carp.
Matt wasn’t left out landing cats to 125lb. Although Mike turned out to be the man with
the golden touch, landing 9 fish with a total weight of 171lb in one day, the lads still got on well,
and nobody sulked, well only a bit! Never mind Matt, there’s a 30
with your name on it for next time!

Colin and Ken
After a less than successful trip with another fishing company further down river, Colin and Ken
were anxious to have a great weeks holiday with Ebrocatncarp. They were not disappointed.
In very mixed weather, and sometime difficult conditions the lads netted carp to 44lb,
and cats to 136lb. The lads are looking to book for next year already.

John and Jack
First time visitors John and Jack experienced the whole range of Spanish weather, from heavy
rain and very cold wind, through to very hot sunny days, which all gave some testing
fishing conditions. They still managed to land cats to 168lb and carp to 36lb.

Andy
After his 14 day trip in the summer with Ebrocatncarp, Andy was back again for another
short break. In just 2 days fishing, Andy beat his pb with a lovely 45lb carp,
netting a total of 336lb of fish including a 148lb cat.

Shaun and Luke
In very mixed weather conditions, father and son, Shaun and Luke fished for 4 days.
Shaun was a very novice angler, but with a little guidance from our guides Heiko Winter and
Tom Rouse, he soon got the hang of it, and landed a nice 141lb cat as well as numerous
double figure carp. While young Luke showed Dad how to do it
with
carp to 35lb and cats to 138lb.

After quite low water levels over the past few weeks, water levels have risen slightly
due to recent heavy rainfall. With winter round the corner, water temperatures
have dropped and the cat fishing has slowed down.
Carp fishing is getting better every day, with lots of 30lb and 40lb carp being caught.
Now that the brilliant cat fishing summer months have come to an end, we are looking
forward to another fantastic winter carp fishing season.
