Awesome big wild carp caught by Ebrocatncarp customers from the river Ebro in Spain

ONE OF THE BEST DAY’S FISHING
OF MY LIFE . . .

was praise indeed for the Ebrocatncarp guides Heiko Winter and Tom Rouse. Especially coming from veteran angler 75 year old Walter Taylor about the first day of his most recent trip out fishing with us.

Walter and his mate Matt Morrall from the West Midlands are regular customers of Ebrocatncarp, and have had lots of short breaks fishing with us on the River Ebro. This time they were joined by their mate Paul Russell for a 3 day trip.

The lads took a late night flight from Stansted into Reus and after a good night’s sleep they were raring to go early the next morning.

Basking in the early spring sunshine, the boys had a fabulous first day’s fishing and all beat their personal bests, and the double figures just kept on coming!

Our friend Walter is a treasured customer. Being a mature man, he naturally deserves the best of attention, and our guides Heiko Winter and Tom Rouse ensure Walter is comfortable and enjoys his time with us. With temperatures hitting the 80’s during their time on the bank, Walter took the honorary chair in the shade under the umbrella, popping out at very regular intervals to land his fish and pose for the camera and he certainly kept the lens clicking and the landing net busy.

This 31lb carp was a personal best for Paul on his first visit to the River Ebro and certainly made it a fantastic trip for him. He’ll be back too.

The 25lb was pretty good too!
